Creating Simulations in Powersim Studio 9

Powersim Studio 9 utilises the System Dynamics methodology to model your system and simulate its behaviour over time.

You begin by creating a graphical model representing the operation of the system or problem you wish to study. Then add mathematical formulas which represent the behaviour of each element and its relationship to other elements.

Running the simulation then allows you to observe the behaviour of that system over time.

Use Risk Assessment (sensitivity analysis) to assess the impact of uncertainty or risk on your system.

Use Optimisation to have Studio automatically search for an optimal decision based on your defined criteria.

Risk Management combines the advantages of Risk Assessment and Optimisation by allowing you to search for an optimal decision taking into account risk and uncertainty.

Create compelling and intuitive user interfaces to present your simulation to end users by adding text, pictures, sliders, gauges, tables, action buttons and graphs.

Simulate using your own data. Powersim Studio can connect to external datasets including Microsoft Excel, SAP Netweaver BI and relational databases (such as Microsoft Access, Oracle and SQL.)
